Biography

Dmitry Remezov is a composer, producer and performer of electronic music currently based in Cologne, Germany; a co-founder of experimental music ensemble »unfeed format« (Cologne), director and co-founder of the visionary KYMATIC ensemble (Moscow); the founder of the leading contemporary music ensemble of the Urals, «InterText» (Yekaterinburg). Author of more than 40 works that erase the boundaries between music, video and performance art. A student of one of the most prominent composers of European multimedia art scene, Michael Beil, he is also a cum laude graduate of Ural Moussorgsky Conservatory (composition). Organizer and participant of numerous Russian and international festivals, master courses and concerts of contemporary art music, including »impuls« festival in Graz (2019), «Studio of New Music» workshops on newest composition and performance techniques (Moscow, 2014, 2015); IIIrd and IVth Ural Industrial Biennale of contemporary art (Yekaterinburg, 2015, 2017); «Ural Music Night» festival (Yekaterinburg, 2015-2018); master courses on electroacoustic music by Marko Ciciliani (Austria, 2016), Yannis Kyriakides (Netherlands, 2016); done internship in Vth, VIth and VIIth International Composers Academy of Moscow Ensemble of Contemporary Music (Moscow, 2015-2017).
